'I just wish auto focus would have worked better for the fireworks, but I guess that\'s a lesson for next time: use manual focus. I also missed a few seconds of the beginning, but at least it wasn\'t like it was at the San Diego 4th of July show. I was in South Miami Beach for the 4th of July and figured that I test my new digital camera, the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9, including testing its 1080 HD mode. Me and my group were fairly close to where the fireworks were launching from, so we definitely had an advantageous viewpoint to observe the show. Oh, and if you are ever in South Miami Beach, a suggestion: most restaurants on Lincoln Road are substandard. But there are some notable places to eat. For Italian, Quattro is good. For Japanese, Doraku is good. For hamburgers, Shake Shack. 5 Napkin Burger is okay, but I prefer the Shack. For German food and beer, Hofbräu. Serendipity 3 is okay. Miss Yip, which served decent, though not mindblowing, Chinese food is now Miss Mao, but I don\'t how if they\'re any good. And, though this place is on Alton Road instead of Lincoln, Lime is a nice place to go for some good Mexican food. A La Folie Cafe on Espanola Way is a decent French bistro. Big Pink on Washington Avenue has decent food. Prime One Twelve on Ocean Drive makes good steaks and I love that bacon is served at the bar as a snack like pretzels and peanuts would be. And, of course, David\'s Cafe is good Cuban food. There are other restaurants, but I\'m just babbling on.... But, I will say that I\'m kind of peeved that Zeke\'s on Lincoln changed to Rio Station, though. Zeke\'s $4 beers and laid back ambiance were winners. The $4 beers are still there, but the ambiance isn\'t as charming or as relaxing.'
