
'Welcome to #Kalaminute Episode 1: Street Tempura! One of the favorite street food among students and working people would be the tempura. This is not the Japanese tempura but more of the popular kikiam that is sold in the side streets of Manila. Kikiam is made of flour and fish meat and then shaped liked shrimp tempura. Right now, it is being sold at 3 for 10 pesos. We normally put sweet and spicy sauce on it. As an added twist Cebuano vendors gives costumers an option to add pipino (cucumbers) and guso (seaweed) as a topping.
