'[ NO TALKING. JUST FOOD. ] Shinjuku\'s Piss Alley (aka Memory Lane, or Omoide Yokocho in Japanese) is a tiny alleyway crammed with equally tiny yakitori restaurants and other little street food joints. Though this historical side street is always packed with tourists trying to get Instagram shots of its picturesque Showa era vibes, it\'s definitely a unique place that deserves a walk through. And my favorite noodle shop in Shinjuku is located there! Kameya serves up cheap and simple bowls of tempura soba and udon in their own \"tentama\" style and is a great place when you need a fast, no-frills bite (that\'s also incredibly delicious).
