'I recently went to New Orleans for the first time, and it won’t be the last!! I had a blast and the vibe was so amazing!! I made it a mission to enjoy the city and search for as many black owned soul-food restaurants as possible (minus Cafe’ du Monde) to try the famous beignets, gumbo, and delicious seafood. I think these small businesses have some of the best foods and deserve some love and $$ to keep them afloat. I was not disappointed, and these are the ones that I loved the most (at least from what I tried)!!! This place definitely tested my Fegan diet, but if you’re a seafood lover like me, this is the best place to be!! I can’t wait to go back! Enjoy!!  Best Places to Eat + F ave dish transcript: 1.)
