'From Sapporo we took a day trip to the seaside town of Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan. We went in search of sea urchin (uni) rice bowls and crazy flavored ice cream (natto, black squid ink, sea urchin, seven layer). It was a beautiful bright summer\'s day in the port city of Otaru, and we thoroughly enjoyed tasting chocolates and indulging in the local foods.
