'In this video we plant a small clover kill plot located in a low wet area. The ground is usually to wet to drive a tractor and even sometimes too wet to drive an atv in. It is a 40 x 20 yard kill plot. To plant it, we sprayed the plot with roundup, then we waited until everything was dead and brown. Since it was so wet our only method of tilling and breaking ground was ripping it up with the atv. Which worked out really good, it didn’t till too deep and did a good enough job where we can get good seed to soil contact. If you DO NOT spray to eliminate competition you are missing a BIG part. By not spraying we would not have been able to work up the ground good enough and a lot more weeds would have grown in. So if you have a plot that is just to wet and it is hard to get to, try spraying and get your atv back there and have some fun! Tear it up, do a bunch of donuts and throw some seed down, wait for it to grow and you got yourself a nice secluded kill plot to hunt over this fall!'
