'No meat, no alcohol, not even garlic or onions. For devout Thais of Chinese descent, that\'s the diet for the next several days as the Vegetarian Festival is in full swing. People wear white, pray to the gods, and in Phuket, the festival is taken to the next level with extreme face piercing and induced trances, NBT WORLD\'s Joel Gershon went to Yaowarat, the Chinatown section of Bangkok, to get this story of the festival.'
