Stain it, dry it in a cotton cloth for few hours. Dry roast in medium flame, in two batches. There should be no moisture, rice should be slightly golden. Cool it, powder it in dry mixi jar. Cool the powder, store in dry container. You can store outside for a month. Kanji Take 2 tsp powder, 1 glass water, mix and boil it. Once it starts boiling, keep in low flame, cook for 10 minutes. You can add 1/4 tsp brown sugar / white sugar or pinch of salt. Once it cool down, grind in mixi, adjust consistency by adding water. You can feed in feeding bottle or you can feed in spoon. Veg Cerelac Vegetables option Carrot / beetroot / Potato / sweet potato / yellow pumkin. Peel the skin, grade it finely, add along the rice powder and water, cook for 10 minutes. Add sugar or salt, grind, and feed using spoon. You can do with one vegetable or 2 to 3 mixed vegetables. You can add cardamom powder, dry ginger powder for sweet version,.. Jeera, ajwain for salt version. You can start giving plain rice Kanji from 120 days to 150 days. After few weeks you can give veg Kanji.
