With his patients, he uses the example of the honey tree. Probably once every year or two, our ancestors would have had the luck to find a bee-filled honey tree and the bravery to attack it. He imagines them lying around in a sleepy sugar coma for days after indulging in this special treat. Occasional indulgences like this aren’t harmful, but daily treats can lead to obesity and disease.
