'An American fun snack...PUPPY CHOW, also known as MUDDY BUDDIES!! Fast & easy to make w/ only six ingredients (from start to finish). PUPPY CHOW 9 cups Corn Cereal, square in size (Chex brand is best) 1/2 cup Peanut Butter, creamy 1/4 cup butter 1 cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips 1 teaspoon vanilla, optional 1 1/2 cups Powder Sugar 1. Add cereal to large mixing bowl. Set aside. 2. In heat proof bowl add butter, peanut butter & chocolate chips. Melt ingredients over double-boiler until smooth in texture or microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds. Add vanilla, optional. Stir well. 3. Pour chocolate mixture evenly over cereal and gently stir until cereal in well coated. 4. Add 3/4 cup powdered sugar into two (1 gallon-size) sealable plastic bags. Divide chocolate coated cereal into both bags. Shake gently until cereal is coated with powdered sugar. 5. Pour onto cookie sheet(s) and chilled in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
