'Can we really eat according to the Canada Food Guide?'
58:38 Dec 21, 2023
'Session facilitated by Dr. Snehil Dua, instructor, Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences, University of Manitoba We all know which foods we should consume more often, and which ones should be consumed in moderation, but most of us struggle to make the right choices. Often because we don’t have time to cook healthy, sometimes because the processed food is convenient and tasty, and inexpensive, and sometimes because our kids want to eat the cool food. With the lack of time and with competing priorities, we struggle to follow the Canada Food Guide. During this session, we will discuss ways to eat well without spending any extra time in the kitchen, and without breaking the bank.
