'Natural Ways to Reduce Uric Acid - Health tips and tricks  Hyperuricemia, or high levels of uric acid in the blood, can be caused by either increased uric acid production in the body or impaired uric acid elimination through the kidneys.  It can also cause complications such as gouty arthritis, kidney stones, and renal failure. A high-purine diet (purines are broken down into uric acid), excessive alcohol use, renal insufficiency, obesity, underactive thyroid, genetics, diabetes, acidosis, and many other disorders can all contribute to a high uric acid level.  There are several natural cures and advice that can help control and reduce uric acid levels.  Apple Cider Vinegar Apple cider vinegar, as a natural cleanser and detoxifier, can aid in the removal of toxins such as uric acid from the body. It contains malic acid, which aids in the digestion and elimination of uric acid. In a glass of water, dissolve one teaspoon of raw, organic, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar. Two or three times a day, drink this solution. You can gradually increase the amount of apple cider vinegar in each glass of water until your uric acid levels drop, up to two teaspoons each glass of water.  Lemon Juice Though lemon juice may appear to make the body more acidic, it actually has an alkaline impact and aids in the neutralisation of uric acid. Its vitamin C content also aids in the reduction of cholesterol. Levels of uric acid In a glass of warm water, squeeze the juice of one lemon. On an empty stomach, drink it first thing in the morning. Continue for a few weeks at the very least.  Cherries Chemicals found in cherries and dark berries can lower uric acid levels. For a few weeks, eat a half cup of cherries every day. For roughly four weeks, you can also drink one or two cups of tart cherry juice. Add blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, and bell peppers to your diet for even better outcomes.  Baking Soda Baking soda is an excellent way to reduce uric acid levels and relieve gout discomfort. It aids in the maintenance of the body\'s natural alkaline balance and makes uric acid more soluble, making it simpler to wash out of the kidneys. In a glass of water, dissolve one-half teaspoon of baking soda. For two weeks, drink up to four glasses of this. It can be consumed every two to four hours. This remedy should not be used on a regular basis. Also, if you have high blood pressure, avoid using this cure. Drinking more than three glasses per day is not recommended for people over the age of 60.  Olive Oil When heated or treated, most vegetable oils degrade into rancid fats. The rancid lipids deplete the body\'s supply of vitamin E, which is necessary for maintaining uric acid levels. Instead of using vegetable oil or butter, use cold-pressed olive oil. Olive oil has anti-inflammatory properties and contains monounsaturated fats, vitamin E, and antioxidants.  Water Uric acid filtration is improved by drinking enough of water. It aids in the diluting of uric acid and induces the kidneys to excrete excess quantities through urine. Drinking plenty of water on a regular basis will help you avoid repeated gout attacks. Throughout the day, drink at least eight to ten glasses of water. Include additional fluids and fresh, water-rich fruits and vegetables in your diet, such as watermelons, strawberries, and tomatoes, as well as cucumber, lettuce, and celery.
