'I was recently accused of fraud by Uber. I talk about this experience in this video and give some recommendations towards the end. This experience has me thinking about how vulnerable drivers are to being deactivated and yet there is nothing that we can do once that happens. Be careful out there folks. Watch out for yourself. It looks like Uber is cracking down on cancellations. If you need to cancel an order that you accepted, call support instead of just going through the app. There are some restaurants that leave orders in a location accessible to anyone that walks in and they don\'t ask people to verify pickup with their phone. One staff member at a restaurant admitted that ppl had been stealing their orders. The staff might say \"someone else took the order\" and if you cancel and select that option in the app, the customer will get charged for food they didn\'t receive. It is the restaurant\'s responsibility if someone steals their food. Call Uber support right away.
